How
to Get Agfa Film Recorders Repaired |
In June of 1998, Agfa sold
its Film Recorder business to Creative Computer
Graphics, GmbH of Germany. However, Agfa kept its
profitable support business for its film recorders.
The new owner of Agfa's Film Recorder business
decided to update the designs to reflect changes
in technology. As a result, replacement parts for
the older Agfa designs were no longer being produced,
and Agfa finally discontinued its support in 2001.
Understandably, this put Agfa owners in a bit of
a bind, as Agfa was no longer updating software
either. So the question is, where can I get my
Agfa Film Recorder repaired? And the answer is,
